Reacting correctly when disaster strikes

Who takes care of the media if it starts burning? Who calls the relatives? How is the staff to be informed? These are some of the questions that were sorted out when HordaGruppen had their exercise in crises handling.
- This is necessary, says Mikael Johansson who is maintenance and service manager.
  Mikeal Johansson is satisfied, now the staff know how to react in a crisis.
   
In order to really undestand what a crises is and what reactions will appear, the fire brigade have authentic practices. This is something that HordaGruppen decided to try. The participants, in this case the companies management took part in a simulated situation as if there had been a fire. The participants had different roles and acted according to their knowledge.

Crises plan
- It was a very useful experience. We now have clear instructions and know who will do what in a crises situation. We have put together a disaster plan. This is not something we hope or expect to happen, but do however see it as a preventive action.
